You Too Can Go From Good To Great!

“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” ― Mark Twain

______________________________

One of my mentors once said to me, “Show me the 5 people you spend the most time with and I will show you what you will be doing in the next five years.” We are who we spend our time with.

We are going to think, do and become similar to those we spend our time with. It’s natural.

To make the jump from good to great we need to be highly selective with who we spend our time with and even share our dreams with.

People who are not chasing their dreams might not have any support for someone who is chasing theirs. It might get lonely. But you will meet people along the way.

Stay away from those who belittle your dreams!

10 Reasons To Find Your Greatness

Why should you find your greatness? Do we all have it? Where does greatness come from? What can it do for us and others?

Greatness is not something you are entitled to. It’s something that you earn, something that you work and strive for. It is something that you deserve only if you make a go for it. Meet life with life!

Find your Greatness!

Tapping into our potential and unleashing our greatness will make a huge difference in our lives and on the lives we come into contact with.

Here are 10 Reasons to Find Your Greatness!

Have an Impact

Finding your greatness will help you to make a tremendous impact; not only on yourself but also on your family, on the people around you and on the whole world. And this impact is something that they will surely value and treasure for the rest of their lives.

Attract Positive Energy

Embracing your greatness can make you look at life in a more positive light which can help you stay away from negative thoughts that can only bring you down.

Experience Happiness, Pleasure and Joy

Being aware of how great you are will also pave the way for you to feel good about yourself. This can serve as your motivation to continue living your life to the fullest and make the most out of every moment that you have. And when you do so, joy and pleasure are bound to come your way.

Be Happy for Other People

Part of personal development is being able to celebrate the happiness and success of other people around you. When you feel great about yourself, it also allows you to see the good things in others and this way, you will also attract your very own happiness and success.

Open More Doors to Opportunities

Showing your greatness to the world will open you to brand new possibilities and opportunities. You can see more great things brewing on the horizon and you will be more motivated to claim them because you know that you can actually do it.

Prepare Yourself for Changes
All things on Earth are temporary, with the tables constantly changing. By fully embracing your greatness, you can be fully prepared for whatever changes life may throw at you.

Extend a Helping Hand to Others

Your greatness is not something that works for yourself, alone. When you feel great, this can serve as your motivation to help others to feel great about themselves, as well. Together, everyone can work hand in hand to make things better.

Start a Better World

When people see you embracing your greatness, they will also be inspired to embrace theirs. When everyone does this, this will pave the way for a better world, one person at a time.

Create a Legacy That Excites You and
Makes You Proud

By finding your greatness to the world, you will leave behind a legacy that you can be proud of.

Greatness is Possible for All

Last but definitely not the least reason why you need to show your greatness is because it’s possible for everyone, regardless of age, gender, race, color and beliefs. Everyone can be great. It’s only a matter of choice. Choose wisely!

How to Motivate Yourself:
8 Real and Powerful Ways!

What if our motivation was automated? What if no matter how tired, frustrated or depleted we are;

we can find a way to make it happen.

How can we create systems to achieve what we want, give what we want and become who we want.

Here are 8 real and powerful ways to motivate yourself!

It’s not all about you

Help motivate someone else. Reach out to people through email, Facebook , phone or face to face. Listen closely to someone. Odds are they will bring up something they are struggling to do or get through. Give them some time, words and energy that will help them push through it.

Position yourself to win

Set yourself up for success. What are 2-3 small victories you can accomplish right now to build momentum? What is something really small, but deeply meaningful? Always focus on your outcome. When things start to appear thick, rough and ugly, or when you start to feel frustrated at the speed of things or people, and events disappoint you – refocus on your outcome.

Slow down

Take breaks from working. Put on some music and dance. Motion produces emotion. Go for a walk. Walk away and then come back, fresh and refreshed.

Appreciate You

Don’t be afraid to REWARD yourself. Many times we get caught chasing the big fish, and we forget to savor every bite of the small one. Enjoy and celebrate your journey.

Stimulate your senses

Watch a motivational video on YouTube to inject passion and energy where there is none!

Get to the core

Write down 7 things you need to do and then cross off 4. Choosing the 3 most relevant “Need to Do” things will make the load feel lighter and have you focus on the essentials.

What you want

Always focus on your outcome. When things start to appear thick, rough and ugly, or when you start to feel frustrated at the speed of things or people, and events disappoint you – refocus on your outcome.

Impact

Turn your outcome into a mission. Many people know what they want, but aren’t sure on WHY they want it. Make your WHY clear. Make your WHY massive.

Just Get Started!

You don’t need anyone else to believe in your dream to get your dream off the ground.

Have no expectations. Stop expecting people to be just as excited for you as you are! Stop looking for people to believe in you for you to get started!

Start where you are with what you have! Start small.

Enjoy the journey! And people will believe in you tremendously when they see you have enough belief in yourself to make it happen!

It starts with you!

Get started!

Believe When No One Else Will

This quote reminds us that our dream is OUR DREAM. We can’t expect anybody else to be as excited in our dream as we are. We can’t expect anybody to believe in our dream as much as we do.

It’s not their dream, IT’S OURS! Most people wait on others to believe in them before they get started; for validation, confidence and motivation. Something that has worked for me and I always ask  my clients is, “What is something that you’ve always needed to hear to make yourself more confident about getting started?” Good! Now, tell it to yourself! Again and again and again! Realizing, that the only person we need to hear it from, is ourselves!
Own your dream!

Don’t wait for your family to see it.

Don’t wait for your friends to see it.

Don’t wait for anybody else to see it.

All that matters is that you see it! You believe! You take the time every day to step into your future by behaving and taking the actions needed to become who you want, do what you want, have what you want and give what you want.

All that matters is what you believe!

Believe! Take Action! Enjoy the process!

Massive Success!

This quote and perspective might go down as ONE OF the shortest, most simple and yet empowering ideas of all time. Have you ever felt wronged? Disrespected? Under-valued? Under-appreciated? Neglected?

Of course you have!

We all have!

Maybe we need to arm ourselves with the idea that everything negative happening to us is justmore fuel towards our personal greatness.

One of the reasons why this thought is so empowering is because most people who have struggles, challenges, obstacles and toxic people in their life lack the motivation to change, grow and succeed. They become victims. They think that this is just how their life is. Their reality is based on the words, actions and opinions of others. That is no way to live.

If you’re having a hard time finding the motivation. If you can’t find the reasons to do it for yourself. Fine… for the time being. Prove them wrong! All the haters, doubters, non-believers and out-right abusers – show then what you’re truly made of. Show them you will not be stopped! Show them that their thoughts, actions and intentions are not the determining factor in your life. You are! Succeed to a level past their wildest dreams. Then, appreciate all of your hard work and progress. And when the time is right and you are at peace – thank them, because it would not have been possible without them!
